  Location was excellent and the basic residence was also excellent. If the general maintenance and cleaning of the house was improved the whole experience would have been a 5 star.

  The staff and Management of Hawaii Beach Homes did everything in their power to make our stay a positive experience. We found HBH to have a true Aloha Spirit at all times, even when the unexpected happened. The location of the home in Portlock was perfect for our needs.We would highly recommend contacting them for your next vacation rental home in Hawaii.

  Portlock Vista was beyond what I had imagined or expected. It was a lovely place to relax. Returning home was as fun as heading to the next adventure on North Shore or in Waikiki. Minor issues with one of the showers (it wasn't working) and no knowledge of how to close the vent over the pool (it rained inside the house instead, which was actually pretty cool). But it was a LOVELY experience and my friends and I are already discussing making this an annual event!

  A call to report problems with the front door brought a quick response. The view of the ocean and surrounding area was great. The view of the sunsets every evening can only be described as fabulous. The indoor swimming pool was great although the description
  of the pool should mention that there is no shallow area. The neighborhood is quiet. On future trips to Hawaii I would love to stay in this home again.

  I'd buy the house if I could. There were a few cleaning details that surprised us in a property of this calibur. Amanda was incredibly receptive and compensating. I had major surgery 3 wks. prior and the pool was the perfect answer. Great views, sunrises.

  Very pleasant, very nice, highly recommended. Great location on the edge of Honolulu. Only two things to be aware of: the pool is not heated so can't really be used for swimming, and the house rules pretty much require that you clean up for the maids before they arrive. Minor complaints on an overall great place. The place meets the expectations that the photos set, so book with confidence.
