  This is our second year in a row at this gorgeous place. This huge house is perfect for our large group of 10. I couldn't believe we saw a turtle on the beach near the house. This beats staying in a Waikiki hotel any day. We will definitely be back again!

  We were very disappointed with our stay. Hawaii Beach Homes did refund our cleaning fee as a result of the issues we had. We wanted them to do more but they said they could not assist further because they do not personally manage the house (it would have been good to know this before we booked). The owner showed no interest in addressing our issues.
  
  Our main issues were:
  - We were not able to check in on time because the cleaners were running late.
  - The house was extremely dirty. None of the floors had been mopped. The floors were visibly dirty throughout the whole house. There were even obvious ketchup stains all over the floor of the dining room area. After walking through the house with bare feet for a few minutes our feet were black with dirt. The kitchen benches had not been cleaned and the kitchen sink was filthy – it looked as if a few cups of coffee had been tipped in the sink but no other cleaning had taken place. Our grandmother went to have a rest on one of the beds and noticed that there were dirty sheets on the bed. A number of the pillows were extremely old, stained dirty and therefore unusable. The towels in the bathrooms were moist and musty. The showers appeared not to have been cleaned at all. The state of the bath and the shower curtain in the bath was shockingly bad. It was certainly impossible to bathe our children during the entire stay. The level of soap scum and grime means that it has been many months since the bathrooms have been properly cleaned. Many of the cupboards were rotting away. Reptile, insect and rodent droppings were visible throughout the house and, in particular, inside the cupboards.
  - The house has not been properly maintained. A clear example of this is how the roof is covered by a tarpaulin held in place by a few rusty paint cans.
  - The house lacked basic supplies. There was no paper towel at all, no bath soap and there wasn’t even enough toilet paper for our stay. There were no cleaning produc

  There can be no better Hawaii experience that a home on the ocean. The house was lovely, and the location fabulous. The house had a great functional layout, with nicely appointed furniture and decorating. We love the convenience of being close to Ted's Bakery and the town of Heleiwa. This was our idea of a perfect vacation!

  Amazing house right on the beach. We spent everyday on the balcony watching the beautiful waves and spectacular sunsets. This huge house was perfect for our large group of 10. We had the best weekend ever. I would highly recommend this beach house. It was simply paradise!

  The house was beautiful and very accommodating; however, we all cocur that we were lead to believe the entire house was airconditioned. It did work out okay , but I believe that needs to be clearly communicated in the future.
  We had 6 middle agers, 5 twenty-somethings and one (me)at 74. We spent a lot of time on the lanai off the kitchen/family room on the top floor. That floor had also the 'bunk' room (4 bunk beds) a half bath with a full bath across the breeze-way which also housed the apartment. The main floor had 2 ocean-view bedrooms, 1 inside bedroom, 2 bathrooms, laundry room & living room.
  The bottom floor was wonderful for the young people which led right out to the beach. The beds were good and many things were supplied such as paper towels, toilet tissue, liquid soap, washing detergent, dishwasher detergent and garbage bags. Also we were delighted to find that the pantry off the kitchen had many spices which former guests had left along with other things that we had forgotten to buy on the way to our beach home. It was a magical 5 days for me with my children, their spouses and my grandchildren all in the same house. The kitchen had most of the cookware and utensils we needed and we improvised for other things we needed. I had not cooked on a gas stove in 60 years so had a little trouble with that and the oven did not cook evenly but other than that everything was great.
  
  Thanks so much for making our Hawaii visit to my grandson's beach wedding a wonderful memory for me.

  Our stay at the Aqua Nui was unbelievable. We stayed from Jan29-Feb5 and we saw whales from the lanai, sea turtles and beautiful ocean views. The setting was perfect for our 11 guests and the ceremony for my parents renewal of vows right there on the property. I definitely recommend this property and cannot wait to go back! The week was unforgettable!

  My husband and our adult children(4 couples)stayed January 1- January 8. The vacation was wonderful, We really did not want to leave when the week was over. We had coffee every morning on the top deck usually before the sun was up and the surfers were paddling out to the surf. The beach is very isolated and only other people staying in nearby properties were usually present, occasionaly surfers would climb over the rocks to the side of the property to paddle out to the surf. Some large rocks directly in front of the house on the beach limited our access to open sandy areas, but just next door and a few feet away there were some limited size areas of golden sand. The house was perfect for our group, large and many different areas inside and out to have some privacy. There is only room for 2 cars in driveway and it is best to back in for an easy exit during heavy traffic times. You really need a rental car, not any place to walk to, grocery stores and restaurants at least 5-6 miles in either direction of house. Every night we just relaxed again out on the deck before coming in to talk or play games. The most relaxing week I have ever had. I could leave again next week for a 13 hour flight to paradise.

  We were so happy that we decided to stay on the North Shore of Oahu instead of in Waikiki or Honolulu. Haleiwa is a great little town and the people are so incredibly nice. We couldn't have had a better trip. The house was perfect and everyone loved it. The beach is secluded and private and we loved seeing the turtles. We spent most of the time at the house out on the lanai just watching the waves and the incredible sunsets. We can't wait to go back next year!

  everything was PERFECT, the house, location and the weather. I would recommend this house to anyone wishing for the hawaiian experience. There wer 12 family members celebrating our parents 50th wedding anniversary. The trip of a lifetime to stay in the Aqua Nui for 2 weeks. We did not want to leave.

  We loved Aqua Nui. What an unbeatable location - the sound of the waves nearly beating down the back door was fantastic. To be able to lie in bed and watch the surfers almost surf through the window made unforgettable memories. A great house, we would love to come back. The photos have made all our Aussie mates green with envy.

  We had a wonderful time in paradise. House is roomy and in a beautiful spot. We had a visit from turtles every day. Very open, light and tropical.

• We had ages 2-75, and this was the perfect place for us. It does require driving everywhere but the water is at your doorstep and the house is absolutely fabulous. We couldn't have been happier.
