Step through the front gate and into your very own tranquil Hawaiian paradise.

Located on spectacular Waimanalo Beach, this elegant home features designer furnishings, a spacious ocean front backyard and a large tropical front yard with a tropical lily pond, waterfall and gardens. The kitchen, living room, dining room and two of the bedrooms all have fabulous ocean views. The master suite occupies the entire second floor, and has a private patio with spectacular views of both the ocean and mountains from the bed. Leading into the master suite is a lounge area with sweeping views of the Koolau mountain range, perfect as a place to relax with the book and watch as the sun sets over the mountains, or to use as an additional sleeping area as there are two twin day beds. There is a second master suite downstairs off the tropical garden, where we have installed a large new jacuzzi hot tub. The mattresses are the same brand used in 5 star hotels, including the Waldorf Astoria. The pillows are luxurious, hypo- allergenic faux-down variety.

What a beautiful home! Loved the floor to ceiling doors that open to let the outside in. The beach was beautiful and the waves were perfect for boogie boarding. The yard is perfect for kids;lots of little critters to take pictures of. We all had an amazing vacation. I do have to say that most of the beds were very soft and uncomfortable but other than that... All was amazing! Will stay again for sure.

We spent a week in Waimanalo Sep 19-25 2011. We wanted somewhere right on the beach, not touristy but close enough to Waikiki for shopping trips for the family. We reviewed dozens of places before deciding, and it was the perfect choice.

This is a great house for family time. The house is big with lots of different areas for different times of day, and for gathering together or having private time. The beach right in front is a little rough if you are not used to waves (my in-laws are from Sapporo, Japan), but there was no undertow, and once our family got used to the waves (there are several body-boards at the house which were a big hit), they were in and out of the water all day. We also snorkeled out to the rocks a little offshore and found a friendly turtle that swam close to us - no fish to see there though. We loved that there were plenty of beach towels provided in the house, and two hot-water showers outside for when we came back from the beach. There is a constant on-shore breeze which makes it always cool (even cold if you are wet - bring a light sweater).

The house is even more impressive than the pictures - it is not the kind of place to stay in if you want hotel perfection, but it is exactly right if you want a week away in a house that by the end of it feels like it is 'your own'. The wooden artwork in the house is quite outstanding. The Jacuzzi out the back was well-used, as were the two different barbeques (we only needed to use the smaller Weber - you could cook for a dozen people on the bigger one).

We were very careful with locking up when we went out or were out the other side of the house - but we had no problems with safety or belongings.

The staff at Hawaii Beach Homes were professional, friendly and helpful. I spoke to several different people and all of them were great. They were able to arrange an early check-in for us as the house was empty the day before (luckily) which was perfect as we arrived on an e

This Waimanalo Beach-house provided nparalleled view of the ocean, extremely easy access to an almost private beautiful beach with fantastic view. My guests and I could not have asked for more!!

This was our first time renting a vacation home. I was a little unsure about what to expect. The process was easy and professional. We rented the home for our wedding by Captain Howie and we found out he was just across the street. The property was a little outdated but very clean. The views were amazing and the beach was right off the back yard. Kitchen was well equipped and our entire family loved the home. We took advantage of the boogie boards and beach towels. Our teenagers and our parents all enjoyed the home and all it offered. We would love to stay again.

Our group of 8 (2 families - 3 adults and 5 teenagers) stayed for 10 days and have all but good things to say about this property. The home more than accommodated our families. It was clean and well stocked with everything from towels, beach towels and kitchen necessities. The beach is unbelievable and quiet. The water is great for boogie boarding or just hanging out in. A perfect location in paradise. The only complaint is it would be nice to have had beach chairs and an umbrella to take to the beach. There is also a pond with a waterfall, along with a hot tub in the back yard. A nice way to end the evening. Will definitely be returning!!!! Thanks for sharing your home with us!!!

My family and I really enjoyed our stay there. We had several young kids with us, and the short walk to the beach was a real plus! The house was very spacious and large enough to accommodate our large group. We were there for 7 days. There were a couple of minor drawbacks - the toilet on the main floor sometimes would have to be flushed several times because the pressure dropped from time to time. The water would not really drain. Also, many of the paintings / prints were not appropriate for young children (they depicted nude figures). We also had a few maintenance issues, but the property management company was real attentive and quick in sending people out to work on the issues. Overall, our stay was very pleasant.
We loved staying in this home. It is a beautiful home right on the beach. There were not many other people on the beach on any day except Sunday. Many days we had the beach to ourselves. The landscaping is amazing and very well maintained. Our plane

We were thrilled with the property and location. Wiamanalo Beach was a perfect location for us to meet and enjoy our family. My family came to Hawaii to attend the wedding of my son and the ability to gather in a common location with grandparents, adult childern and grandchildren made this the perfect trip. Great house and location. Generally clean house. There was trash on the beach side of the property, between the hedge and the grass, that had accumulated and needed removal. The mast-less Hobie cat next door is an eyesore, too. Some of the dish cabinets beside the refrigerators could use surface wiping. And the torn towels need replacing. Nevertheless, it's a great place.

We loved this place. It was such an ideal place for a big family like ours (12 people total), four families splited into four bedrooms. The oceanview and the beach-front property was a plus for us with young children. The kitchen was fully equiped. Though the blender didn't work. Washer and dryer was nice so we don't have to pack a lot for our trip.
The two things that bothered us were first the neighbor called us at ~9pm to tell us we are not allowed to use the Jacuzzi that late...We were just having a casual conversion and they complained it was too loud... I reviewed the contract and it did not say anything about not using the jacuzzi at certain hours. Second thing is we saw a big crockroach in one of the bedrooms (the one next to the Jacuzzi). However, these are minnor issues (at least to us anyway) compared to what this place has to offer. we would definitely go back for another family reunion.

  Thanks for your compliments, you were all fantastic guests. I just want to explain that the stinky fridge was not caused by a lack of cleanliness, but because the motor wasn't working properly so when the cold fridge started to defrost there was a stench. We have replaced the fridge.

Aloha!
We had 4 adult couples stay at the house in Waimanalo for 2 weeks. The house was perfect for us as the 2 big master bedrooms were separated from the 2 smaller guest-type bedrooms.
The kitchen is big. We cooked almost all our meals there for 13 days. Aside from the fact that I am used to using extremely sharp knives (due to the fact that I am a butcher) the kitchen was well stocked.
We played games at the kitchen table and on the outside tables. We did bring the games ourselves. A stocked game cupboard might be a good idea for this home as there were no games that had all the pieces at the house.
We brought our own surf fishing gear and fished a lot, but we didn't catch any fish. We did see a nice local kid land a 25 lb. Ulua at dawn. There were many small weddings on the beach near the house.
Buy some polarizes sun glasses to get the best views of the ocean. Polarized glasses block the glare and make it so you can see through the water. We snorkeled at Waimanalo Beach park, about a mile south of the house. We liked it better than Hanauma Bay and it is free! There, we saw lots of turtles and lots of fish. Calmer days are better for snorkeling there, but we did snorkel in windy weather too. Even grammie who didn't snorkel got to see the turtles from the Waimanalo Beach Park with her polarized sun glasses. We saw Humpbacks breaching and doing the pectoral flap out in the deep water from the house and also from the lighthouse hike. They are around Nov-May. We saw them on April 26 and on May 3.
Sea air does a number on the windows, we washed them twice while we were there. A lot of items in the house were rusty due to the sea air. We swept with a cool little electric sweeper a few times to keep the sand to a minimum.
Sadly on the 1st night my sister(who is a local) got her swim suit stolen from the chairs on the beach side yard of the house. Apparently someone comes along to all the vacation rentals and takes what

We have been to the Inlands 11 time now. At this house 4 time. Three age groups of peole. A lot of things to do within a short distance of the home. The property was beautiful and the management staff were helpful. All the wedding guests who stayed at the house had a wonderful time. I liked the low-key personal furnishings and character of the beach house. I liked the key box check-in; it made it easier for couples who were on different flights to check in. However, it would be good to notify guests that they will be ticketed if they park their car on the pavement. Vehicles are supposed to park on the grass on Laumilo St., which is pretty unusual. No one saw any signs, and 2 cars got $30 tickets. Not too aloha...
As a kama'aina (local resident) who has used Hawaii Beach Homes rentals 2 years ago and will probably arrange rentals for friends and family in the future, I do appreciate a kama'aina discount. However, I didn't really like paying $100 to book the house or $50 damanage insurance. I feel these fees were just added expenses added to the fairly high cleaning fee and the 12% tax. I think you should eliminate these extra charges if you want to stay compepitive with VRBO.

Our stay in Waimanalo was a perfect prelude to our son's wedding--lush/immaculate yard, fabulous view, gorgeous house, excellent location, and wonderful service from the property manager. We had several questions that were dealt with quickly and efficiently, and couldn't have asked for a better response. We also arrived with a group varied in age (6-62), and all enjoyed the setting and home immensely. One particular plus was that our 6 yr. old grandson (along with the remainder of our group) truly enjoyed exploring the amazing and varied art collection. We would absolutely visit this home on a subsequent trip, should the opportunity present itself, and want to thank the owners for sharing such a treasure!

Beautiful location. House fit our family needs and easily slept the five adults and four children. Definateley will stay again. When we arrived power was out on much of the island and I am sure the cleaning crew was limited in their ability to adequately clean the house. We had to vacume and mop the house before we felt confortable with its cleanliness. Kitghen and dinning area were spacious and confortable with beautiful view. Some kitchen cabinets are in need of repair , wood rot on botton of spite of the items mentioned this is a great house for a family vacation.

I booked a week's stay at this home completely over the web. I didn't talk to anyone and took it on faith that it would be as nice as the photos. my faith was not disappointed. The house is huge. It has a quality to it that is "lived in" enough for us to feel comfortable right away. The ocean is right out the back door with a white sand beach that goes on forever. We saw at least one wedding a day. The town of Waimanalo is quiet and it takes no time at all to get to Hanauma Bay for snorkeling. I highly recommend this home.

We expected it to be a "designer home w/air conditioning" as advertised. It's more of a beach house & only 2 bedrooms are air conditioned. We had a bug problem but maintenance came out right away. Once we were able to clean the house & settle in, we began to appreciate how spacious the house is. The beach is great! In the end, the good by far outweighed the bad, everyone was happy & would do it again.

Our entire group couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. The accommodations were perfect, comfortable and had every amenity we could think of. The decor with the various pieces of art just added an unexpected flare and provided a very warm experience. The neighbors were also incredibly friendly and only added to the enjoyment of our stay. As one of the guests said when they first came in, "Wow, this is even better than the pictures showed." I think we all agreed that we'd love to make this a regular yearly family vacation spot with this property as the focal point. Thank you so much for being there.

Our party of 6 adults found the house and location great. The rental procedures were simple and clear. It was easy to drive around - be it the beaches, Honolulu, the North Shore, or the Leeward coast - although W. beach itself is great and not as crowded as Kailua or Lanikai; a good place for walks while watching the sun rise. The house is spacious and has all the amenities one would expect. However, the building is in need of some update (windows, bathrooms, etc.) but nothing to hinder your stay. The general feeling of the house is reminiscent of the artful 60's; like going to an aunt's summer house...

Loved all the art work at this property, and the fish pond. There were a few light bulbs burned out--manager should replace these. The window next to the master bed would not close. The beach was very windy most of the time. Thanks for the internet connection.

The house is large and there are some areas difficult to clean. There is some maintenance that is a must do: the upper floor bathroom window falls out when you try to open or close it. It is good to remember that it is a BEACH house, not like your real house back home.

View was fantastic! Had plenty of room for a wedding and reception. Some locals were great, others threatened to kill us if we didn't leave the beach. We've had other family members stay at this home and didn't have any problems.

I cannot speak highly enough of this beautiful beachfront home! You will be surrounded by a true, rustic Hawaiian experience when staying here! The white sand beach and turquoise ocean are literally steps out your back door. We had Waimanalo beach and its spectacular beach practically to ourselves. The home was very clean, convenient, and had spectacular views. Portions of the home were somewhat "rustic", but it only added to the feeling of "old Hawaii". We stayed in three different homes while on our vacation, and this home was, by far, our favorite. It was stocked with everything you could need...high quality bed linens, fluffy bath and beach towels, more kitchenware than you could ever possibly need. If you are looking for beautiful views, an almost-private beach, and to be surrounded by rustic Hawaiiana, I HIGHLY recommend this home. You will not be disappointed! My husband and I stayed her with my mother and our three children, ages 7, 12, and 13, and we all fell in love with this home. Pictures do not do it justice!
