We loved the location and the layout of the house. The views were breathtaking. There were lots of little things that needed repairs and the phone was not in service as advertised. But, the turtles did come up on the beach and the weather was perfect for us. Everyone had a great time.

The local was beautiful and there were three honu on the beach during our stay. Walking out the door to the ocean was wonderful. I liked the layout of the house (no bedrooms share a wall with each other, and the master suite is on the other side of the house from the 2 smaller bedrooms). The kitchen was spacious.
Some comments:
The queen bed was very mushy.
The front door lock was broken. It was really hard to work the key in the lock, which doesn't give a great first impression of the place! But once you're in, the ocean view is spectacular. The lock on the right side door leading down to yard/beach was also in kinda bad shape, and the sliding screen door to the lanai was busted.

Three Palms was everything it claim and more. We really enjoyed our week there. The location is perfect and the house is ideal for preparing meals, visiting with friends and hanging out on the beach. While nearly perfect I would recommend: A street mirror to help navigate out of the driveway into traffic. and work on the screen door. Thanks for sharing such a great place!

Came with my family and this house was absolutely the perfect place for our vacation. The house has a incredible views of the ocean and the NW tip of the island, fantastic sunsets, and great beach access out back. I would not hesitate to stay here again, and certainly would make a point to come back to this house. We loved it. Only a short drive from town, and about 5 mins from Waimea Beach.

We felt very comfortable here. It was not opulent or too fancy--perfect for a family with kids and grandparents in tow. Much better than our resort stay in Kauai, and the high-light of our Oahu trip. Highly recommended.

From entering the front door, you see the ocean. You see the ocean from every angle in the house and that's why we chose it. Sunsets on the back porch or back yard are spectacular. Big waves rolled in on our last full day and were entertained by amazing surfers braving the biggest waves all day. Grilled steaks on the covered deck with the Weber grill and ate dinner on the porch as the sun went down into candle light--amazing experience and was exactly what we wanted. We had a small issue that could have ruined the stay, but management was very responsive and professional--just what you'd expect from the Aloha state--experts in hospitality.

This was our first stay on the North Shore, and Three Palms was an excellent location for us. I would like to return to that location when the water wasn't so rough, because I'm sure the snorkling would be great.
Having been in the travel industry for 35 years I was surprised by the additional rental fee the company charged! I've never encountered that before, since the company does recieve a commission.
The master bathroom needs serious updating! Our toilet seat was completely broken off, but was promptly repaired. The shower doors were old and stuck. They should just be removed a use a shower curtain, so someone doesn't get injured.
Although the living room furniture looked very nice, we were really surprised they used white covers. It would not be good with children. Because of the location of the TV, only two people could watch it at one time.
Overall, it was great and can't wait to return.
This is a perfect house to stay with family.

We stayed for 10 lovely days at the 3-palms beach house followed by 3 days at a swanky 5 start hotel on Waikiki beach. Of the two I can say that our time at the beach house was FAR more enjoyable as a family experience when compared to our hotel stay. Staying at 3-palms felt like being at our own home, except, we got to swim with Sea turtles in our back yard! With 6 children ages 16,13,11,6,5 & 2 the beach house provided just enough room and so much to do within short driving distances making our 10 days on the North shore absolutely magical! The home itself was very comfortable and clean. The only recommendation I would give to the owners would be to upgrade some of the furnishings in the living room area, including the TV. At night time, the kids liked to watch a movie to unwind and the current TV had poor sound. EVERYTHING else about the house and location was absolutely PERFECT as far as we were concerned. Thank you Hawaii Beach Homes for a wonderful vacation experience for my family!

Comfortable home, great location - minutes from Waimea Beach, Pipeline, etc. and an easy ride to Haleiwa Town for coffee and meals. Surf and snorkel out the back door, rinse off sand and oil in the outside bathroom / shower keeping the home floors clean. Very minor maintenence needed - management will most likely have it done by now. Would stay here again.

The house is great. The location is ideal. Everything was as advertised which was a relief to our family with one 6 and one 9 year old. The house is comfortable and open. You can see the beach from the kitchen which helped watching the kids play in the surf and prepping dinner at the same time. We used the beach at Turtle Bay for most of our recreation as the waves made the reef at the house and at Waimea Bay too rough for our early March trip. So close to Waimea Bay that you can see the church from the water. We'll be back. HOPE HOPE. Negative Alert: The rooster was religious about our 6:30am wake-up which was cute the first day, but nobody could sleep in EVER including our kids who we wanted to be well rested after playing hard.

What a perfect location for our little family's first vacation, it really couldn't have been any better. The place was a little dated on the inside and not "luxurious," but it was very clean. I would have given it 4 stars, but for the great last minute deal we got, it made it a 5. The bed in the master was super comfy, but the other queen (that our 6 month old slept on) seemed pretty old and beat up.

If you could add a few little extra touches, like a some bikes to ride and a hammock and a jacuzzi, and update the furnishings, it would be perfect!

Our stay at the Three Palms Beach House was most everything we hoped for! Just amazingly relaxing! We had a turtle on our beach our 1st day and on our last afternoon (we stayed 5 nights). We had seven family members, from 14yr to 89yrs in age and it accomidated us nicely. By the time we left I felt as those this was my home - really didn't want to leave. Management was great if I need anything Amanda and Amy are terriffic! Definately would stay again. Reminded us of an older beach house we leased in West Vancouver, BC, Canada. A great way to vacation. Our only caution is regarding the swimming along the North Shore beaches, surf & currents are dangerous. We did find a beach near the marina in Haleiwa with a beach that would be safer to swim.

Superb location, right on the beach with surfers right off the front lawn. Visiting turtle at bottom of steps one sunset was a highlight. Well appointed kitchen with lots of unexpected extras in the cupboards made for a very easy stay. Only negative is the bathrooms which need to be renovated to the same standard as the kitchen. Perfectly clean but poor lighting ... just showing their age. A very memorable and relaxing experience overall and we'd happily return to this property.
Everything was perfect. We loved Three Palms. We did not want to leave, and can't wait to come back.

Wow, this house was just amazingly perfect! North Shore is awesome and the location of this house just amazing. My family and I stayed here for 7 GREAT nights in July. It was awesome! This is the way to experience Hawaii! My husband and I didn't even get all the suitcases into the house before our kids came back excited about seeing a sea turtle on the beach. We saw turtles daily, the sunsets from the lawn chairs/ beach/ house were amazing, snorkling was great, and the rainbows were awesome! The house was perfect! It is charming and very homey. It is definately a place to unwind and enjoy your family in a beautiful setting. This was our BEST vacation ever!! Steps away from a private beach where you can swim, surf, snorkel, kayak and even do some fishing. The turtles routinely come ashore to bask in the sun. The house is reasonably equipped for a family stay, there's a bbq and lawn chairs overlooking the ocean. There are a few boogie boards and fins available. The kayak needs to be replaced or fixed (leaking) as well as the paddles but still usable if you're creative. Overall a very enjoyable stay.
Some couches uncomfortable. Everything was great except the living room set around the TV. It made it hard to watch tv comfortably.

The beachfront property brought something new and exciting every day we stayed there. Day one arrived at sunset, it was awesome. Day two - a sea turtle right on our beach. Day three - saw the green flash as the sun set. Day four - stormy but with a Hawaiian monk seal on the beach. Day five - 3 turtles on the beach, two came within five feet of where we were sunning and the monk seal (F-2) came up on the beach to sun. Day six - more turtles on the beach. We saw Humpback whales every day from the beach and house. Overall a really memorable time, fine sunsets. Minor problems with electrical and 2nd bathroom. Staff was responsive. Aloha.

I have to say that this house exceeded my expectations! Wow, what a view!!! My family and I had the time of our lives! It was perfect. The only reason why I rated the general condition of the property 4 stars is only because a few things in the house were broken (ie. dishes, towel rack in one of the bathrooms, screen door). Other than that, the location was outstanding, the home itself was in good shape and very clean. The overall stay was just perfect! Oh, and did I say the view from the living room windows was absolutely breathtaking??? I cannot say enough about this place. Way better than spending all your hard-earned money on a raggedy hotel in Waikiki. This was the best Hawaiian experience me and my family have had yet! We would for sure recommend Three Palms to anyone and everyone!

Three Palms - We loved our stay at this beach house. It is a great location if you are interested in surfing in the winter. However, it is pretty far from most of the touristy things to see on Oahu.

It would have been helpful to get a list of things that would be provided in the house. For example, we brought a bunch of beach towels, and they had tons there for us to use. We also weren't sure if we would need our own bath towels,laundry soap, dish towels, etc.

Location, location, location. It was a perfect location! We loved having the beach at our door step. The ocean was still calm that my children were able to swim. The beach was gorgeous, complete with visiting turtles! Although the location was perfect, it was not a five star hotel. I'm hoping the beddings were clean as they seemed dingy. A furniture update would've been nice - seemed really old. I'm glad that the shower stall had a handheld shower head, otherwise it would've been difficult to bathe my 12 month old. Would be nice to have it in both bathrooms. If you can get past these details, this is the house for you. I was an awesome staycation in place of our cancelled Disneyland vacation. Will definitely do again!

Great location, and although close to hwy the house is insulated great, and noise is hardly heard in bedrooms. Floorplan, deck and location is 1st class. We had a great time for the 5th year in a row with rentals of your properties on N. Shore. They are all great except Endless Summer.

This was the perfect rental for me and my family. You know it has to be great because I'm local and have lived here all my life. When we first arrived the kids were thrilled to be able to take pictures with a large turtle resting on the sand right in front of the house. We see turtles all the time but for one so large to be on the beach was even better. My brother and his daughter were visiting from Arizona so that was a special treat. Anyway the kids had a wonderful time snorkeling and riding the kayak. Summertime is the best time to be on the North Shore because that is when the surf is the smallest so it was perfect for the kids. The location was perfect too because it is close to the stores in Haleiwa and Foodland is just around the Bay. I could go on and on about how perfect it was. This is a rental that I would recommend to both locals and to tourist. We will be back. Thank you to Amanda for your help in finding this last minute rental for us.

My husband, 3 daughters, my mother and I all really enjoyed our stay at this house. The house is set up well for maximum enjoyment of the beach in the backyard. It has a nice living room and lanai near the water. The kitchen is great - big, modern with everything you need. The beach is awesome! Turtles came up to nap everyday. We used the kayak that was provided. You can snorkle at the beach. Shark's cove is about 5 min away with really spectacular snorkeling. The house is located between Haleiwa and Pupukea which are both convenient for grocery shopping. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to friends.

Our family had a great time at the Three Palms home at the North Shore on Oahu. The property is located right on the beach. From the pictures, you couldn't really tell how rocky the beach was, but it was OK to swim in. The trade off to the rocky beach were the sea turtles that swam up right in front of the house - they were great. The kitchen was well equipped, except that it was light on any seasoning you'd need to cook with. The electric stove was also a draw back if you're used to a gas stove. The furniture was dated, but the outside eating area was nice. It was located a minute away from Waimea Bay which was beautiful. The last shocker was how expensive the supermarket was. I guess Foodland is the only major market there, so they can charge you what they want. Overall, I may stay there again.

We had a wonderful time. The property was perfectly located between Haleiwa and Waimea, giving us lots of beach options and easily accessible places to explore without having to deal with the hustle/bustle of Waikiki. It was a little nerve wracking for us to have a crawling/pre-walking baby in the house with the tile floor, breakable decorations, and steps into the sun room, but I would highly recommend this house to anybody.

We had a fabulous time at Three Palms. The view was simply amazing - like nothing I had ever experienced. The house was quaint and perfectly nuzzled in between Haleiwa and Waimea Bay. We were very pleased with the surrounding community, friendly neighbors and overall Aloha experience. My only complaint is that the house was filthy. For example, if you walked around the home in white socks, the bottoms would be grey in no time. We did not call the property manager and just opted to clean it ourselves. I would highly suggest property management schedule and review the completion of a super spring cleaning. This property is far too wonderful to be left in such condition. I would however, return again or suggest the property to a friend, but would share the previous experience in advance as to avoid cleaning myself upon arrival. Many Mahalo!

  The house had been sitting empty for a week which caused the dust from the highway dirt to get in and dirty the floors. We learned that if its empty we need to go in the day of for another quicik over dusting.

This house has such a beautiful location! Literally steps from the ocean. We were a group of 6 (2 couples and 2 singles) and we spent every morning having coffee and watching the surf and surfers from the lanai. the set-up is great with a very large kitchen which flows into the dining area and then the living room/lanai space. Comfortable furniture in the sitting area for ocean viewing.
Unfortunately, there is an ant problem in the kitchen, with ants (tiny, not the big black ones) running rampant over dishes, around refridgerator.
Master bedroom is lovely, however the guest bedroom with Queen bed leaves much to be desired. No storage space to speak of, it has a closet with hangers, but no shelving space and no shelves or bureau drawers to keep clothing, so we wound up living out of our suitcases for the week, opening and closing at the start and end of each day, as there was no room to keep them opened anywhere in the room.
the bedroom with twin beds has similar problem, no storage space and a closet with hangers on floor but no rod to hang clothes from.
Finally, the second bathrooms could definitely use updating, felt we needed shower shoes to walk around the bedrooms and bathrooms.
Overall, had a very relaxing start to our Hawaii vacation and so happy we were on the beautiful North Shore as opposed to Wakiki.

We loved our stay in Three Palms in Haleiwa. We wanted to "see the big waves and the surfing" and certainly got to do that! The location was incredible. As is the case with many rental homes, there were many things that needed maintenance in the home. We called the agency to report them; hopefully the house will get a little more upkeep. Other than that, the house is exactly as it is pictured in the website photos. A very quaint, charming cottage by the sea!

Loved the location, but the beds were mushy, pillows quite old, and furniture old and creaky. The kitchen sink faucet needs repair, the blender doesn't work, and the air conditioning barely works. Still, it was a lovely stay with sea turtles, waves and snorkeling, and we had a wonderful time. There are lots of nice tables for dining and games. I hated leaving!

This house is in an awesome location...absolutely awesome!! We had turtles on our beach each day. BUT... this house is advertised as air conditioned and believe me, IT IS NOT!! We had a hard time cooking due to the heat and ovens and stoves only make this worse. As well, we had a hard time falling asleep due to the heat... about 3-4am is when you would finally cool off enough to rest peacefully. There was also an ant problem in the kitchen. The views though and the beach front is what made it bearable!!

You cannot ask for a better location on the North Shore. We truly enjoyed ourselves at Three Palms. We saw sea turtles and spent a day with a Hawaiian Monk Seal. The neighbors are great and the house resides steps from the beautiful ocean. We felt very safe and it was totally worth the price. You are minutes from Haliewa as well as Waimea. Easy access to groceries and North Shore restaurants. Very easy to hit Matsumoto's with it being so close. There was plenty of space for a family of five. I would 100% recommend Three Palms and would definitely come back.

The house location was amazing and the views were fantastic. The master bath was not very clean. The couches have an odor from being damp. It's a beach house so some of that was to be expected but it could have been cleaner. The light fixture in the second bath needs some work or upgrading. Overall we enjoyed our stay very much.

This was the best vacation ever. The location was the best we could have ever asked for, right on the beach, easy to find, alot of things to do that was close by. We even got to meet 'Dog The Bounty Hunter' and his family. The rainbows where like nothing we've ever seen before.The view from the house was breathe taking. We even got a visit from the sea turtles. Every day at least one of them come to vist. There was so much to do and not enough days to do it. And we were there 15 days. The house was very nice. My only complaint, it didn't have air condition. And the house could use a second TV. We had 5 in our group and there was plenty of room for everyone.

We had never splurged on a family vacation like this before. Hawaii was always our dream destination but we thought it was out of our reach until we found this home! We kept it a surprise from my husband until we went to the airport! On the flight over he asked how much the house was. When I told him he said' It won't be very nice We were all impressed when we walked in. More than we could have asked for. The kids were in the water within 5 minutes...husband too! With the beach literally in the backyard with snorkeling and turtles lounging around, the extra outside shower and toilet, to the perfectly appointed kitchen and wonderful windows to enjoy that great view in the living has everything! We would go back in a heartbeat and not bother to look for another house! Thank you for sharing your home and making our dream come true!
I'm very happy to stay this rental house. When staying in Hawaii I feel relaxed. It is most important for me. So I'd like to check and fine rental house next time.(maybe this year)

Some couches uncomfortable. Everything was great except the living room set around the TV. It made it hard to watch tv comfortably.

Spaciousness and beachfront ideal.

Three Palms - We loved our stay at this beach house. It is a great location if you are interested in surfing in the winter. However, it is pretty far from most of the touristy things to see on Oahu.
